MAAX Bath to display at Canada’s largest contemporary design event: Interior Design Show 2010

Lachine, Quebec, Canada, January 21, 2010 – From January 21 to 24, MAAX Bath will be presenting at the Interior Design Show/IDS 10, Canada’s largest contemporary design event, where every year more than 300 exhibitors showcase their latest products in a panoply of innovation. At this year’s show, MAAX will introduce four exclusive products from MAAX Collection: the Roman^TM, Viaggi^TM and Optik^TM bathtubs and the Exposé^TM walk-in shower. Our booth (no. 882) will feature 400 square feet of impressive displays highlighting the remarkable and innovative design of MAAX Collection. Drop by and discover a world of sophistication.

A model for every style

Reminiscent of fireclay tubs from the end of the 19^th century, the Roman^TM bathtub features a straightforward yet bold vintage design with a rectangular shape and billowing curves from top to bottom. Available in two sizes, the Roman bathtub can be installed in either a freestanding or drop-in configuration. This model demonstrates traditional craftsmanship coupled with the latest advances in massage technology to create a bathtub of distinction.

The Viaggi^TM freestanding bath will radically transform the ambience of your bathroom. Sitting effortlessly atop a wood base, this strikingly seamless oval bathtub draws the eye to its noble yet contemporary geometric lines. Moreover, remarkable textures and rich earthy colours give the revolutionary design a modern aura that instantly captivates and intrigues.

The new Post-Minimalist Optik^TM bathtub incorporates simple circles and rectangles with its curvaceous armrests fused with sleek, smooth lines. Optik’s distinctive look complements any modern décor and provides the ultimate in style and relaxation. This unique, trendy product will be the centrepiece of any bathroom.

The streamlined design of the Exposé^TM walk-in shower offers a world of unimagined freedom. Breathtaking modern elements such as wood trim, curved glass and a low shower base make Exposé the last word in contemporary chic. Entirely customizable , Exposé is available as a corner , alcove or wall-mounted installation and comes in three sizes. In addition, the base and glass can be purchased separately or as part of a full kit.
